You have seen them in quilt shows: abstract tops whose colors ripple and flow in amazing curves. Meet Bargello, a quilting technique that creates waves of color across a quilt by manipulating strips.
Join Alice Yates in making a simplified Bargello quilt using the Gelato pattern that needs only two fabrics. An ombre fabric does the hard work, creating a perfectly coordinated color wash. Then a focal fabric adds a lightening bolt wave across the quilt.
You will come away with an exciting 42″ x 52″ quilt plus Alice’s tips and tricks giving you the skills you need to make more.

Dates: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, June 23 – 25, 2023
Time: 4:00 – 7:00 (Friday), 10:00 – 3:00 (Saturday and Sunday)
Place: Dark Star Fabrics, 30 Main Street, Phillips, Maine
The original class took place on May 30th, May 31st and June 1st of 2023. Each set of dates covers the same material. If you completed the original class, you do not need to take the repeat class.
